* Synopsis :


Pina and Wicky live in Bagnacavallo, a little small town, and have just completed high school. Finally they are allowed to go to Bologna for attending the IX edition of the wellknown anti-prohibitionist rally “Street Rave Parade”. They meet in front of a music store managed by Cricket, a ‘70’s survivor.


Pina, once alone with Cricket, reveals to him that once in Bologna they want to try some drugs like ecstasy and Cricket decides to lecture Pina on the realm of illegal drugs. It’s early afternoon when Pina arrives in Bologna at the gathering of the “Street Rave Parade”. Here she meets with Bugs, a young stoner, who immediately pass her a joint. Then she founds Wicky together with a strane guy who’s nick name is Chillum. He has plenty of different pills and some LSD bloaters known as Happycoffi. While the party is kicking in, Pina is tempted and accepts an Happycoffi, but she swallows only half of it.


Pina starts experiencing the effects of LSD while the parade is moving along Bologna’s outer ring avenue. Once the effect of the psychedelic drug has calmed down, Pina once again finds Bugs right in the middle of the party. They decide to ask Wicky to contact Chillum for getting some drugs. Pina, Bugs and Wicky meet with Chillum and together they head up to the city center. In some small medieval alley we see the two weird characters previously banned from the parade.

* Synopsis:


The story is narrated from the diary of Johann Cavallius, historian of the city of Bremen, who is wondering if it was the Nosferatu who brought the plague to Bremen in 1838.


Newlyweds Hutter [Gustav von Wangenheim] and Ellen [Greta Schroeder] are saddened when Hutter is sent to Transylvania by Hutter's employer Knock [Alexander Grannach] to arrange for Count Orlok's [Max Schreck] purchase of a house across the street from the Hutters' house in Bremen. Hutter travels to Transylvania where he stays with the Count, is sucked by the Count, and eventually escapes from the castle but not before seeing the Count depart on a cart loaded with coffins. While Hutter recuperates in a hospital after succeeding in his escape, the Count moves into the house across from the Hutters'. The rise in deaths is accredited to a plague thought to have arrived with the Demeter. The "Book of the Vampires" tells Ellen what she must do to end the vampire.


The Count meets his doom when Ellen manages to keep him until after cock crow. Best scene is the vampire rising from Ellen's neck after realizing the cock has crowed. As the sun slowly advances on the houses across the street (visible from the window), the Nosferatu attempts to escape. In doing so, he passes the window and is trapped by the sunlight. He 'vaporizes' into a puff of fire on the carpet.

* Synopsis:

In 1904, Morocco is the source of conflict by the powers of Imperial Germany, France, and Great Britain, all of whom are trying to establish a sphere of influence in that country. Raissouni is the leader of a band of Berber insurrectionists opposed to Sultan Abdelaziz (Marc Zuber) and his uncle, the Bashaw (Pasha) of Tangier (Vladek Sheybal), whom Raissouni sees as corrupt and beholden to the Europeans. He kidnaps Eden Perdicaris and her children, William (Simon Harrison) and Jennifer (Polly Gottesman) from their home, after murdering Sir Joshua Smith (Billy Williams, the film's cinematographer), a British friend of Eden's.

Raissouni then issues an outrageous ransom, deliberately attempting to provoke an international incident in order to embarrass the Sultan and trigger civil war. Finally, Gummere, Chadwick and his aide, Marine Captain Jerome (Steve Kanaly), tire of the Sultan's perfidy and the meddling of the European powers and decide to engage in "military intervention" to force the Sultan to negotiate. Jerome's company of Marines, supported by a small detachment of sailors, march through the streets of Tangier, much to the surprise and chagrin of the European legations, and overwhelm the Bashaw's palace guard, taking the latter hostage and forcing him to negotiate. Under such coercion, the Bashaw finally agrees to give into the Raissouni demands, but during a hostage exchange, Raissouni is double-crossed and captured by German and Moroccan troops under the command of Von Roerkel (Antoine Saint-John), while Jerome and a small contingent of Marines are present to secure the Perdicarises.

While Raissouni's friend, the Sherif of Wazan (Nadim Sawalha), organizes the Berber tribe for an attack on the Germans, Eden convinces Jerome and his men to rescue the Raissouni. A three-way battle results, in which the Berbers and Americans team up to defeat the Germans and their Moroccan allies, rescuing Raissouni in the process. Back in the United States, Roosevelt is cheered for this great victory, and the Perdicarises arrive safely back in Tangier. At the end of the film, Roosevelt reads a letter he received from Raissouni, comparing the two men (thus explaining the title): "I (Raissouni), like the lion, must stay in my place, while you, like the wind, will never know yours."

* Plot:

After serving four years in prison for killing a man, hotheaded Tom Joad (Henry Fonda) heads back to the family farm in Oklahoma. On his way he meets Casy (John Carradine), a former preacher who has lost his faith. The pair find the farm deserted; Tom's share cropping family was evicted. Tom is reunited with his family at his uncle's farm, only to discover the family must also leave that farm the next day. The extended family of eight (plus Casy) packs up their belongings onto an old truck and head to California to look for work.

Shortly after leaving, Grandpa (Charley Grapewin) dies of a stroke and the family buries him along the roadside. Money is tight; they have trouble affording 15 cents for a loaf of bread. They are warned that there is little work in California. Grandma (Zeffie Tilbury) dies just before the family reaches the California border.

They arrive at an itinerate camp populated with hungry children. A man and sheriff come to the camp promising work but won't say how much they will be paid. A local man at the camp warns the others and the sheriff wants to arrest the man. The man runs away and the sheriff shoots at him, killing a bystander. Tom knocks out the sheriff and flees.

The family leaves the camp and arrives at a farm that needs workers. Tom is wary. The farm is surrounding by a barbed-wire fence with plenty of armed guards. The family settles in a shack and picks peaches for five cents a box, earning barely enough to feed the family. After dinner, Tom takes a walk and encounters Casy in a camp just outside the farm. Casy is helping to lead a labor strike against the farm. Thugs from the farm kill Casy and Tom kills one of the attackers. Tom is hit in the face with a club, leaving a big gash.

The family loads up the truck again, hiding Tom under a mattress. They head north, and stay at a U.S. government camp. Life is better. The camp has toilets, showers and is run by camp inhabitants. Warned ahead of time, the camp men stop thugs from starting a fight at the Saturday night dance that would provide an excuse for the local sheriff to take control of the camp.

The sheriff arrives at the camp looking for Tom. Tom vows to his mother, Ma Joad (Jane Darwell), that he will fight injustice wherever he finds it, and heads off into the night. She worries that she will never see him again. The family hears of work and heads north and Ma is hopeful about their future.

"McLintock!" is a 1963 comedy Western starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, and loosely based on Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. The film is famous (or infamous) for its two spanking scenes, in which mother and daughter are each paddled with coal shovels: the daughter by her suitor, the mother by her estranged husband.


Richard Wormser wrote a novelisation of the screenplay.


Produced by John Wayne's Batjac Productions for United Artists, John Wayne's estate retained the rights to the film. Legal suits prevented the film's copyright from being renewed, causing the film to enter the public domain.


Despite being available in public domain distributors for the past decade, the first official home video issue of the film was released in the mid-1990s by MPI Home Video. Years later, in 2005, Paramount struck a distribution deal with Batjac and thus is now the home video rights holder for this film.
