U.S. Town Protests Against Gaddafi's Tent

Aug. 26 - Reuters :

A U.S. town reacts angrily to reports that Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi may stay in their neighbourhood.

The Mother of Hope Asrelsky a victim of the PAN AM 103 flight, and Adam Rendell, Englewood resident, react angrily to the visit of libian president.

Michael Wildes, the mayor of Englewood said: “This is an affront to the 33 families who live in New Jersey and lost their relatives because of him when they blew up Pan Am 103. You can’t buy that back. You can’t give them their lives and memories back… I’m really upset that a financier of terrorism is coming to our shores. This is not acceptable and we need to make sure he does not come. This man embraced a convicted terrorist and is, at his core, a financier of terrorism himself,”.
