Lipodystrophy: Make 13 year old girl look 50

Due to a cruel blow of nature, Zara Hartshorn is forced to deal with rare genetic disorder (Lipodystrophy) at the tender age of 13.

Lipodystrophy is disorder of adipose (fatty) tissue characterized by a selective loss of body fat.

In accordance with Medterms.Com, patients with lipodystrophy have a tendency to develop insulin resistance, diabetes, a high triglyceride level (hypertriglyceridemia), and fatty liver.

There are numerous forms of lipodystrophy that are genetic (inherited) or acquired (not inherited).
